A millisecond. It’s all you have left. There is no avoiding this imminent departure. Still, the soul is not bound by most material considerations and can achieve much in a millisecond. It can reflect on the important moments of its existence, provide one last chance to reflect, question or resist, and, sometimes, it can even bestow answers and a semblance of closure.
